I'm actually lazy to play the game the most efficiently possible, but as I said, there're people that can clear your doubts much better than me. I always resurrect them until level ~10 and I had no trouble to gather myself 5 autoclickers, even tho I don't focus on rubies (I think -and I'm not the only one to- that doing quests for HS is far more convenients for game progression, and it is indeed helping me a bunch), and I currently have 586 rubies again now: only 10% of these actually come from mercenaries, the others come from Revolc and fishes, and I play mostly idle, so no, I don't check the game every minute either.Īlso, I aim to achievement, and this is the best way to keep number of deaths and revive balanced to get both of them. People much better than me at math already answered your question in guides, and in other threads about this topic until a certain point, it's actually convenient to spend the rubies to resurrect them, as their reward increases more than the resurrection cost for a little while.Įverything depends on your playstyle and on your luck. Why spend $20 on what you can get in a week for free? 200 rubies isn't as impossible as the pricetag likes to pretend it is. I need something to click on the buy buttons so that I don't have to keep checking on the game every minute.Īlso, of course you haven't spent a single buck on them. You can't buy auto clickers with hero souls, so I need the rubies.

Besides, why spend rubies when you can just hire them for free in 8 hours? It's worked until a while ago. I read the FAQ before asking this, and they themselves said that they made the revive costs ridiculous on purpose because you aren't supposed to keep doing it.

I'd rather just spend them on forward progress instead of backwards progress.

Making it even worse of an idea to revive them. If I get a mercenary that gets MORE than 12 rubies before it dies, its revive cost will be WAY too high in the 30-200 range. You take this too seriously for me rubies are just a tool to complete achievements/reach my goals faster, and I've never spent a single buck on them.īeing serious now, why spend 12 rubies reviving a mercenary that could only ever get about 8 at most before dying? That's a net loss. I think you give rubies more than the actual value they have.
